A Didactic Review for Qualifying and Recertification Exams as well as Oral Certification Exam

This comprehensive review is designed to help you pass your Otolaryngology exams as well as to update your clinical knowledge base and treatment strategies.  Emphasis is on evidence-based medicine and board-relevant standards of care, incorporating new concepts and treatment approaches.  This 5-day didactic course includes lectures that review the entire field of Otolaryngology.  As a result, it provides a good review for the ABOto Qualifying and Recertification exams and a thorough update for practicing physicians. Time away from your practice allows for uninterrupted study and the chance to learn from Osler Faculty and your peers. Take away valuable insights and practical tips you can immediately incorporate into your practice.

In addition to the lectures, the course includes a searchable e-syllabus with all PowerPoint presentations, Q&A examples embedded into each topic, clinical case reviews, dedicated Q& A sessions.  Use the e-syllabus to take notes at course and later as a free-standing study or clinical practice guide. Previous participants found the course provided them with improved diagnostic and testing strategies, a better understanding of all major disease entities relevant to the practice of general Otolaryngology and helped them recognize specific areas of knowledge weakness for further study.

Osler Institute will provide our attendees with the latest technology to assist in their review. Each registrant will receive a link to the course e-syllabus upon arrival at the course. The e-syllabus contains PDF copies of all of the presentations offered during the review and is searchable. A printed syllabus can be preordered for a small additional fee.
