Designation: The Osler Institute designates this Other activity (virtual interactive presentations) for a maximum of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This comprehensive review is designed to help you pass your Obstetrics and Gynecology Board exams and update your clinical knowledge and, thus, is useful to practicing physicians and senior trainees.   This 5-day didactic course includes lectures that review Obstetrics and Gynecology’s entire field with emphasis on evidence-based medicine and board-relevant standards of care, incorporating new concepts, guidelines, and treatments.  Learn valuable insights and practical tips you can immediately incorporate into your practice.

Many of our previous participants found the course provided them with improved diagnostic and testing strategies, a better understanding of all major relevant disease entities, and helped them recognize specific areas of weakness for self-study.

The webinar will be delivered using Zoom Cloud Meetings, allowing audio and visual interaction between you and the faculty. To take part in the webinar you need a computer with a good internet connection. With this online webinar course, you get the best of both worlds – the comfort and safety of your own home or office and the chance to learn from the Osler Faculty and your peers. All participants will receive complimentary streaming access to a recording of the course up thru June 28.

At the conclusion of this course participants should be able to:

  • Summarize all important aspects of pre-conceptual health, pregnancy, labor and childbirth, postpartum care, genetics, genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis
  • Demonstrate an updated understanding of women’s health, in general, and evidence-based strategies for the care of reproductive organs and breasts as well as maintenance of sexual function and screening for cancer
  • Apply evidence-based practice strategies for management of hormonal disorders, treatment of infections, surgery to correct pelvic organ and urinary tract problems as well
    as cancer treatment
  • Translate evidence-based clinical guidelines discussed into your practice of Obstetrics and/or Gynecology
