Introduction

These Website Standard Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website. By accessing or using this site, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined here. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use this Website. Users under the age of 18 are prohibited from using this Website.

The Osler “Until You Pass” Guarantee

The Osler Institute is committed to providing high-quality education to our learners. We offer courses that are guaranteed to help them confidently pass their examinations. In the unlikely event that a learner does not pass their examination, we allow them to re-enroll in a course tuition-free* until they succeed. Suppose you have attended an Osler course or subscribed to an online review and failed the examination for which the course was designed within the following nine months. In that case, you can re-enroll in an Osler course or resubscribe to the same term online review until you pass. This offer is tuition-free, but a corresponding failed examination attempt must precede each free course.
Please note that the course registration fee does not include hotel accommodations, meeting amenities, or any additional mock orals or study materials. To enroll in a course under the guarantee, you must complete your enrollment at least 30 days prior to the course start date to avoid potential late fees.

*Restrictions apply: The course must be of equal or lesser value than the original course. Upgrades to a higher-value course are available at a discounted rate. If the same course is unavailable, a three-month subscription-based course will be offered instead. Additional mock orals and a la carte course options are not included in the guarantee.

CME Credits

Attendance/Completion of one of our courses, or participation in a qualifying subscription-based review, is required for CME credit. The Osler Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. CME credits will not be granted to physicians with an outstanding balance.

Cancellation Policy

Subject to a $100 fee, refunds will be made for cancellations received at least 14 days before the course begins. No refund will be issued within 2 weeks of the course date.

Return Policy Streaming Products

It may be canceled for a full refund within 24 hours of purchase.
After 24 hours, the purchaser may cancel their subscription and receive a prorated on-site credit to other items published by The Osler Institute.

Intellectual Property Rights

Other than the content you own, under these Terms, Osler Institute Inc. and/or its licensors own all the intellectual property rights and materials contained in this Website.
You are granted a limited license only for purposes of viewing the material contained on this Website.

Restrictions

You are specifically restricted from all of the following.

publishing any Website material in any other media;
selling, sublicensing, and/or otherwise commercializing any Website material;
publicly performing and/or showing any Website material;
using this Website in any way that is or may be damaging to this Website;
using this Website in any way that impacts user access to this Website;
using this Website contrary to applicable laws and regulations, or in any way, may cause harm to the Website, or to any person or business entity;
engaging in any data mining, data harvesting, data extracting, or any other similar activity in relation to this Website;
using this Website to engage in any advertising or marketing. Certain areas of this Website are restricted from being accessed by you, and Osler Institute Inc may further restrict access by you to any areas of this Website, at any time, in absolute discretion. Any user ID and password you may have for this Website are confidential, and you must maintain their confidentiality.

No warranties

This Website is provided “as is,” with all faults, and Osler Institute Inc. expresses no representations or warranties of any kind related to this Website or the materials contained on this Website. Also, nothing contained on this Website shall be interpreted as advising you.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall Osler Institute Inc, nor any of its officers, directors, and employees, be held liable for anything arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this Website, whether such liability is under contract. Osler Institute Inc., including its officers, directors, and employees, shall not be held liable for any indirect, consequential, or special liability arising out of or in any way related to your use of this Website.

Indemnification

You hereby indemnify to the fullest extent Osler Institute Inc from and against any and/or all liabilities, costs, demands, causes of action, damages, and expenses arising in any way related to your breach of any of the provisions of these Terms.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid under any applicable law, such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

Variation of Terms

Osler Institute Inc is permitted to revise these Terms at any time as it sees fit, and by using this Website, you are expected to review these Terms on a regular basis.

Assignment

The Osler Institute Inc. may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights and/or obligations under these Terms without prior notice. However, you are not allowed to assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and/or obligations under these Terms.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Indiana for the resolution of any disputes.
