Designation: The Osler Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 40 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™.  Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This comprehensive review is designed to provide senior trainees and/or clinicians in practice a comprehensive update of clinical knowledge as well as to help them prepare for their Radiation Oncology exams (initial certification and MOC).  The 4-day course includes didactic lectures with embedded review questions for each topic, esyllabus (containing PDFs of all PowerPoint presentations), and designated Q&A sessions.  Emphasis is on evidence-based medicine and board-relevant standards of care as well as new concepts, treatments, and imaging approaches.  In addition, the course will cover the basic principles of radio-biology and physics that are relevant to clinical practice.  The written exams emphasize anatomy, epidemiology, etiological agents, natural history, pathology, tumor markers, initial clinical evaluation, staging, routes of spread, selection of treatment modality and techniques, surgical and chemotherapy adjuvant treatments, follow-up treatment and evaluation, patterns of failure, and normal tissue effects including complications; all of these areas will be addressed in this course

Osler Institute will provide our attendees with the latest technology to assist in their review. Each registrant will receive a link to the course e-syllabus upon arrival at the course. The e-syllabus contains PDF copies of all of the presentations offered during the review and is searchable.

Syllabus – No printed syllabi are available for purchase. Registered participants will receive a link several days prior to the course allowing access to the esyllabus (both viewable and printable) for download.
