Now with Clinical and Video Vignettes
This comprehensive review is designed to help you pass your Psychiatry Qualifying and Recertification Exams as well as to update your clinical knowledge base. Emphasis is on evidence-based medicine and board-relevant standards of care, incorporating new concepts and treatments. This 3-day course includes lectures that review the entire field of Psychiatry. As a result, it provides a good review for the ABPN Qualifying and Recertification exams or for physicians in practice wanting a thorough update. The course includes didactic lectures with a complimentary, searchable e-syllabus (containing PDFs of all PowerPoint presentations), discussion of clinical and video vignettes, embedded questions for discussion at the end of each topic and dedicated question and answer sessions. Materials and discussion will emphasize DSM-V- TR vocabulary and definitions. Many of our previous participants found the course provided them with improved diagnostic and testing strategies, a better understanding of all major disease entities relevant to the practice of general Psychiatry and helped them recognize specific areas of knowledge weakness for self-study.
The Osler Institute is going green and providing our attendees with the latest technology to assist in their review. Each registrant will receive a link to the course e-syllabus upon arrival at the course. The e-syllabus contains PDF copies of all of the presentations offered during the review and is searchable. A printed syllabus can be preordered for a small additional fee.
