Neurology Mock Oral Review Course
Please select the course you wish to attend, Your registration type, and your hotel room requirements.
Includes Up to 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(tm)
The Optional Didactic Day allows up to an additional 30 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits(tm)
The new optional Three-day seminar is an intense didactic review of adult and child clinical neurology immediately before our well-known three-day course. The three-day courses will be mostly case reviews in the form of mock oral examinations emphasizing differential diagnosis, treatment options, and complications. In 28 hours of cases you will review all major aspects of child and adult clinical neurology. Emphasis will include classical as well as the most up-to-date methods of management. The answers all questions will be carefully explained. Each participant will get practice and gain skill in organizing and responding to questions under pressure and will have the opportunity to observe other exams. Registration in the 3-day course includes doing two public mock oral exams: one child and one adult unless you request, a week before the course, to do two child or two adult exams. You may also purchase extra public or private, child or adult, mock orals. This review format has been so successful, that about half of the board candidates have been taking this course in recent years. Many participants say that taking the course could be the most enjoyable and ideal way to review and assess their current knowledge, even if they have already passed their boards.
You may purchase additional public or private adult or child exams to do; however, availability will be limited within two weeks of the course.
